They also offer services for booking vacation rentals, bed and breakfasts, and condo rentals. To help save you even more money they offer a Discount Club Membership for those who travel more often.

Starting a Hotel reservation is rather straightforward. The center of the page allows the user to pick a destination city by typing in a specific city or picking from one of the more common destinations listed on the right side. A nice thing to note is that the destinations are not all Unites States based. There are several European quick hits such as London. The site is domain aware and changes the sub pages based on your country of record. In my case I popped in from a German server so the Browse More page showed German for the text. While not necessary it is nice to know that the site can adapt itself to make the user’s experience easier. This same process allows you to start a Vacation Rental, Car or Air search.
Road Trip Search
Another interesting portion of the site is called Road Trip Search where the user can find destinations much closer than a continent or so away. You can click on this widget and get popped over to a page where you can enter things like how far away you want to drive and it will find the most popular destinations within your distance. Just a thought this can be used not only from your local destination but also from your vacation destination. Think of it as vacation within a vacation.
Pricing
Pricing is something we are all concerned with to some degree or another. I ran a few different test reservations between this site and the other popular online reservation sites. HotelReservations.Com faired really well on United Destinations but pulled ahead when it came to world wide destinations. For the most part their prices were at least ten percent below the other sites. Of course that depends on the locations picked and lots of other variables but this was a non-scientific test and merely something I did to help with this review.

All this boils down to HotelReservations.Com has definite benefit so I suggest if you travel you take a look and perhaps save yourself some funds while promoting this interesting and evolving site.
